Whether we’re building a Shopify store from scratch or migrating from another platform, Fixed-fee Projects are managed by Patane and completed over four phases: (1) Discovery, (2) Architecture, (3) Design & Build, and (4) Test & Launch.
Once we understand your needs and align on a scope of work (SOW), we begin drafting the blueprints for your store, including page structure, product merchandising, and overall design. Once approved, we build your store on Shopify, thoroughly test every feature, and guide you through a successful launch. We always work one phase at a time and never move forward without everyone on board.
We typically meet 2–3 times during each phase to update on our progress, make decisions together, and ensure we’re always on the same page. We use email and/or Slack for day-to-day communication and quick questions. The average project can take anywhere from 2–6 months, dependent on site complexity and adherence to the project plan.
